Jessica Kaylor, MMS, PA-C brings over 10 years of clinical experience working with cosmetic and medical dermatology patients. In 2018, she received the American Health Council’s Best in Medicine Award of Excellence, being the only dermatology provider recognized in the State of New Jersey. After building her career in Hoboken, NJ with the leading dermatology group in the New York Metro Area, Jessica returned home to Pittsburgh in 2019. She still maintains a cosmetic practice on the Upper East Side in Manhattan and she will be available for cosmetic injections in West Los Angeles soon.
Aligned with the mission of Prizant Dermatology, Jessica prides herself on offering the latest available medical expertise for any skin concern. Jessica understands that many skin issues are not simply at the surface level, but may indicate something deeper about the patient’s overall health and wellbeing. She, therefore, seeks to address the root causes of disease or inflammation, believing that her role is to empower the body to heal itself. This systems, biology and evidence-based approach is called Functional Medicine. Jessica has been accepted as a Candidate for the Certified Practitioner Program with The Institute for Functional Medicine, the only integrative medicine training accredited by the American Medical Association (AMA) for licensed medical practitioners. Jessica is invigorated by the opportunity to explore the niche of Functional Dermatology as an innovative approach to serving her patients long-term health and well-being. Jessica’s unique approach leads to a customized treatment plan for her patients that addresses lifestyle factors and minimizes harmful and unnecessary side effects. She works collaboratively with each patient to determine the best plan of action tailored to his/her individualized skin care needs and goals.
Jessica specializes in cosmetic procedures and injections, which is a particular passion of hers. With an integrative approach to all her work, she aims to achieve natural-looking results that are never over-done yet still noticeably improved and refreshed. As an experienced dermatology provider, her highly professional approach delivers the patient’s desired aesthetic while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Jessica is an alumna of the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a member of the 2004 Ivy League Championship Field Hockey Team. She completed her premedical studies at Georgetown University and earned her Master of Medical Science (MMS) to practice as a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) from Wake Forest School of Medicine. There, she was awarded academic distinction during the clinical training curriculum. A graduate of the nearby Ellis School, Jessica is thrilled to be practicing in the East End in partnership with the Prizant Dermatology team.
